May 26 LIVE ON STAGE AT FESTIVAL PARK

  • 11:00 a.m.—Irie Muse is an exciting new band from Fayetteville that plays an eclectic mix of reggae, jazz, and rock. 
  • 12:00 noonArmy’s Army Presentation and Skydiving. 
  • 1:10 p.m.Kenny Huffman and Workhorse features folk-inspired and country-inspired rock. Huffman writes songs in the tradition of Bruce Springsteen and John Mellencamp, telling stories about laid-off factory workers, cars, women, and how things used to be. 
  • 2:05 p.m.The Heritage Restoration Chorale is an ecumenical singing group dedicated to the preservation of the Negro Spiritual and other music of the Black experience.  Their performances, including one at historic Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C., have won them critical acclaim. 
  • 3:00 p.m.—Ethan Hanson’s “acoustic fusion” mixes acoustic rock with blues licks, jazz voicings, urban grooves, and the occasional Latin flavoring.  Up and Coming Weekly has described his sound as “a soulful cross between John Mayer and Eric Clapton.” 
  • 4:00 p.m.The Stephenson Brothers and Linda have been playing bluegrass and traditional country music for over 40 years. Shelby, a professor at UNC-Pembroke, is an award-winning poet, while Marshall co-hosts the weekly syndicated radio show, Bluegrass Train. Shelby and wife Linda have recorded a Hank Williams tribute album.

**May 27, 4:00-8:00 pm is Flag Take Down Day** If you wish to take your flag home on May 27, please come the Airborne and Special Operations Museum and a Glory Days volunteer will retrieve it for you.  All flags not claimed on May 27 will be donated to a classroom.
